Mobile Meteorite Museum Amsterdam II [MMMA] 2025

On september 7th 2025 the 2nd version of this installation, the Mobile Meteorite Museum Amsterdam [MMMA], was revealed. People were invited to visit the museum, one at the time, and experience a moment of reflection with a selection of the stones from the Meteorite Museum Amsterdam [MMA].

The MMA is before everything else a project that grows through involvement, dialogue and collaboration. Since December 2024 we mapped and opened 11 satellite locations throughout Amsterdam. We worked together with artists, PhD students, musicians, writers, scientists and enthusiasts. We made a podcast and started the photo series ‘Friends of the Meteorite Museum’.
